Lisa, a St. Augustine native, founded Alpha-Omega Miracle Home in 1997, and was herself a teenage mother. Despite her professional success, Lisa was coping with an emptiness that could only be filled by God. One night while asking God how she could serve Him, a vision was placed in her heart and AOMH was born. From a humble beginning with little money, staff or a formal plan AOMH has grown dramatically. It has grown from housing 7 teenage mothers and their infants to now housing 53 residents through various housing programs. Because of Lisa’s love for helping those in need, AOMH has grown to support the community through outreach initiatives: diaper bank, Extended Families program, adoption assistance, annual Shoes of Hope giveaway and a thrift store.

Proceeds from the thrift store support the residential programs, and AOMH gives vouchers to those in need. Charle’s goal is to open up a second location in early 2016. He is originally from Virginia and relocated to St. Augustine for work in 1989.  He and Lisa married in 1992, and now work collaboratively to support the broad vision of Alpha-Omega Miracle Home.
