The Alpha
Omega Academy provides a positive learning

residents of the Maternity
Home to continue with their middle-school
and/or high-school studies in a
non-judgmental atmosphere.

Institute
Originally named
St. Augustine Technical Center, the school
opened in
1965, as the city of St. Augustine
celebrated the anniversary of its 400th
founding. The intent of the Florida
Legislature, in establishing the school,
was to provide area vocational training at
the post secondary level to
adults and high-school Students. First
Coast Technical offers career
and technical education programs. FCT
provides student with financial
aid, guidance and career counseling, career
assessment, special needs
and placement services. FCT is accredited by
the Council on
Occupational Education and The Southern
Association of Colleges and
